Increasing Accountability in the Workplace: Is it a Dying or an Outdated Idea?

Why does increasing accountability among your employees matter to you? Because a lack of accountability is costing your organization money in the form of employee theft, re-work, return of defective products, inefficiency, turnover, workplace conflicts and misunderstandings. And a lack of accountability results in poor customer service—which in turn drives away even the most loyal customers.

Bottom line: You can’t afford not to care about increasing accountability among your employees.

Learning Objectives:

    • Understand the true definition of accountability.
    • Set expectations and gain commitment.
    • Write an Accountability Agreement.
    • Overcome “The Blame Game.”
    • Measure results and provide feedback.
