Briefings Audio Conference

If You Have Something to Say, Make Sure it is Heard!

According to a 2004 Maritz Research Poll only 1 in 4 (24%) workers are completely satisfied with their jobs. The biggest reason for job dissatisfaction (28%) being disapproval of the way that their companies and managers communicate with them. Even though 28% may not seem as significant as say maybe 50%, just put those numbers into the context of productivity. If 28% of a company’s workforce is not receiving or processing information correctly how big of an impact is that on productivity and how big of a gain in productivity can be made by addressing the effectiveness of communications.

Communicating effectively is a direct result of awareness, awareness of physical presence (visual), content (oral and written) and expression (presentation) in your communications. Without awareness in each of these three areas, your credibility regardless of content is diminished in the information processing of those that you are attempting to communicate with. What you have to say will not be heard.

Join us for a 90-minute audio conference as we identify the primary skills needed to become an effective communicator. At the end of the 60-minute presentation you will have the opportunity to ask questions specific to your situation. This is an event you can’t afford to miss!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify the primary skills needed to become an effective communicator.
  2. Recognize how others perceive individuals based on presence and appearance
  3. Demonstrate how to make a good first impression with your presence and appearance.
  4. Establish your creditability as an enffective communicator through spoken and written communications.
  5. Master the skills needed to express our communications by using an array of formats, multimedia, public speaking.
